Dual Enrollment

Why is Dual Enrollment such a great value?

Dual enrollment is designed to provide current high school students, who are enrolled in the 9th grade or above, the opportunity to get an early start on their college experience.

The $46-per-unit registration fees are waived for high school students. The cost of textbooks, other course fees such as materials fees, parking fees and the Student Health Services fee are not waived.

Now that you know SRJC course enrollment fees are waived for high school students enrolled at SRJC, look at the potential savings! Students who complete just one 3-unit class each fall and spring semester (and one 3-unit class during the summer session) starting in their Sophomore year in high school, could have a potential completion of 24.0 units representing a savings of $1,104!

Be sure to check with your high school counselor to be sure you are ready for being successful in Dual Enrollment at SRJC. For more information go to the High School Dual Enrollment page.

Please note: SRJC faculty and staff will not advise students on the requirements to enter a four-year university as a freshman, including coursework to meet the A-G credits. These questions should be directed to high school counselors or university admission officers.
