A Great Value

Why is Dual Enrollment such a great value?

Dual enrollment offers high school students in 9th grade and above the chance to begin their college journey early.

The $46-per-unit registration fees are waived for high school students. However, they are still responsible for covering expenses such as textbooks, course fees (e.g., materials fees), parking fees, and the Student Health Services fee.

Let’s look at the potential savings of students completing just one 3-unit class each fall and spring semester (along with one 3-unit class in the summer session) starting from their Sophomore year in high school. Students can accumulate 24.0 units, resulting in a total savings of $1,104!
