- Select your high school and concurrent college classes carefully, keeping in mind your after-high school plans. Work with your high school counselor to determine the best plan for you.
- Grades matter - it's all about Math and English.
- Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher will qualify you to apply for the prestigious Doyle Scholarship.
- Get involved in high school: clubs, athletics, leadership, the arts...there are many opportunities. Find something that interests you.
- Stay tuned for announcements about SRJC presentations or representatives. Be sure to attend presentations, or search out SRJC representatives when they are on your high school campus.
- If your high school has a College and Career Center, be sure to get well-acquainted with it. Use the resources and services provided! Students who have chosen a career path or a college major are much more likely to be successful in college.
